Starting Viking Clan? Follow the tutorial, complete your first Adventures and learn how your Chieftains help in Battles. Then build your Empire and look for a Guild. This beginner guide explains those first decisions so you can explore the Norse world with a clear place to begin.
1. Start with the Adventures you can complete
Adventures use Energy and reward you with experience, Gold and items. Read the requirements in your current location: some Adventures need particular items or enough Chieftains before you can attempt them.
Repeat an Adventure to increase its completion progress and work towards achievements. New locations give you more to explore. Start by understanding the requirements and rewards on the screen, rather than rushing to unlock every part of the game.

2. Understand Energy, Stamina and skill points
Energy is for Adventures; Stamina is used for attacks. Both recover over time. Your Health, Attack and Defense also matter in combat, so a larger Energy supply is not the only way to develop your Viking.
When you earn skill points, consider the activities you want to do. Energy supports Adventures, while Attack and Defense contribute to Battles. Avoid assigning everything to one attribute before you understand the consequences. Skill choices are lasting decisions; future points let you develop other strengths as you continue leveling.
3. Add Chieftains and collect useful equipment
Chieftains are allies who contribute to your battle strength. They bring Warriors and Weapons into Battles, with the strongest eligible items selected for attacking or defending. Your level limits how much your Clan can contribute.
That means your character attributes, Chieftains and equipment work together. If you lose a Battle, look beyond your level: review your Attack and Defense, your allies and the items available to them. Adding allies also gives you people to exchange gifts with as you learn.
4. Build an income through your Empire
Investing Gold in your Empire produces hourly income, including while you are offline. Check the purchase price and income shown before buying, and make improving your income one of your early goals.
Adventures and Battles give you immediate activities; your Empire gives you another reason to check your character’s progress when you return.
5. Look for a Guild that suits your pace
A Guild is a team of players with shared goals. Members contribute Gamer Points, take on Guild Quests and compete on leaderboards. Browse existing Guilds from your Profile and ask whether they welcome beginners.
Find out how active the team expects you to be before joining. A supportive Guild can help explain unfamiliar features and make your next goals easier to choose. You do not need to lead a Guild to take part.
