Looking for games like Omerta? Start with what you enjoy about the browser mafia RPG: developing a criminal character, making alliances or competing with other players. Mob Wars: LCN, Torn and Gangster Nation each offer a different route into that kind of multiplayer world.
For Jobs, equipment, property income and Fights, try Mob Wars: La Cosa Nostra. If gym training and a wider set of crime-world activities appeal more, investigate Torn. If you enjoy competition organised into rounds, compare Gangster Nation’s rules.
Compare the gameplay
| Game | Reason to investigate | What to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Mob Wars: LCN | Jobs, equipment, PvP and Syndicates | Character builds and group competition |
| Torn | Crimes, gym training and Factions | Progression systems and economy |
| Gangster Nation | Gangster competition organised into rounds | Reset rules and playing schedule |
Mob Wars: LCN: build a mob and fight rivals
LCN gives you a mafia character to develop across sessions. Complete Jobs for cash and experience, buy properties to support your income and equip your mob with weapons, armour and vehicles. Fights put that progression into competition with other players.
The group layer is Syndicates. Rather than choosing a game because it uses the same word for a family or gang, look at what its groups actually do. In LCN, group competition sits alongside your individual progression. Learn the core loop, then explore Syndicate activities as they become available.
Your first session should include both Jobs and Fights. That gives you a better feel for the game than judging it only by the income screen. Read how skill points and equipment support your character and try the interface on the device you normally use.

Torn: compare another criminal character system
Torn’s official introduction describes crimes, gym training, items, properties and Factions. Investigate it if those activities are what you want from a criminal world. Its builds and economy have their own rules; an approach that worked in Omerta may not transfer directly.
Gangster Nation: compare round-based competition
Gangster Nation’s official guide describes rounds that usually last 15 weeks, with a fresh playing field for the next round. Check the current schedule when deciding whether to learn midway through a cycle or start with a new one.
Check Omerta’s recovery and reset rules
Omerta’s official wiki documents resets and a milestone-based rebirth system. Death, recovery and the end of a round are separate questions. A simple permanent-death label can miss important rules. Use the documentation for the version you play when deciding what you want to change.
How to choose after trying an alternative
Ask three questions: did you enjoy the action you repeated most, did you understand how to improve your character, and did the multiplayer competition give you a reason to return? A familiar setting gets you through the door; the everyday play loop determines whether you stay.
If Jobs, Fights and building a mob sound right, follow LCN’s tutorial. This creates a new character in a separate game; it does not transfer an Omerta account.
