New to Zombie Slayer? Start with an Outbreak, learn how Energy differs from Stamina, and look at the equipment and allies that support your survivor. This guide gives you a practical order for your first session, then introduces Factions when you are ready to play with a team.
1. Complete an available Outbreak
Outbreaks are a starting point for earning experience, Cash and items. They use Energy and may have requirements you need to meet first. Read the requirements and rewards in your current location before spending on equipment you think you might need.
Watch completion progress as you repeat an Outbreak. When more areas become available, compare what you can do there with what remains in your current location. You do not need to understand every later event to make your first useful choices.

2. Separate Energy, Stamina and Health
Energy supports Outbreaks. Stamina is used for attacks. Health affects how much damage you can take. Attack and Defense also contribute to fighting strength, so your level alone does not describe your character.
When you earn skill points, read what each attribute changes before assigning them. More actions and greater combat strength serve different goals. Avoid treating a larger Energy supply as the answer to every problem.
3. Inspect your equipment and Squad
Your Squad is the game’s network of allies. Squad members can help you, and Hired Squad members contribute strength in player Fights. Look at the Squad features as they become available rather than assuming the size of a friends list is the only thing that matters.
Review the Weapons, Armor and Vehicles you collect. Read the item details and compare what improves your survivor. If a Fight goes badly, use the result to decide whether your next goal should be character skills, equipment or allies.
4. Build income through Properties
Investing Cash in Properties gives you hourly income, including while offline. Check the price and income on the purchase screen. Building income provides another way to support your progress between Outbreaks and Fights.
5. Find a Faction that welcomes new players
A Faction is a team. Members contribute Gamer Points, take part in Faction Quests and compete on leaderboards. Browse existing teams from your Profile and ask what they expect from new members.
Choose a group whose pace suits yours. Helpful teammates can explain unfamiliar features, but joining does not require you to become a leader or master every event immediately.
