Mob Wars: LCN and Mafia City share a crime theme, but they offer different reasons to return. LCN focuses on developing your mobster through Jobs, equipment, income and rival Fights. Mafia City presents itself as a real-time turf-war strategy game. The useful question is which activities you actually want to spend time on.
Choose by gameplay, not just the mafia setting
A crime theme can describe very different games. One player wants to develop a character and compare equipment. Another enjoys coordinating a team in a real-time contest. Start with that preference before comparing graphics or app names.
| Question | Mob Wars: LCN | Mafia City |
|---|---|---|
| What is the main emphasis? | A mobster and mob that grow through Jobs, skills and equipment | Real-time turf-war strategy and city competition |
| How do you play with others? | Rival Fights, boss help and Syndicates | Clans, alliances and turf-war competition |
| What theme-specific extras appear? | Property income, the Hitlist and a Stockpile of mob equipment | Crew Members, luxury cars and other city-themed systems |
What does a session in LCN involve?
You can complete Jobs for cash and experience, review the skill points you earn and collect equipment for your mob. Properties add regular income. When you want competition, try Fights against other players or explore the Hitlist.
That gives you several small decisions to make: which available Job to complete, what strength to improve next, and how to support your mob with income and items. You are developing an account over time rather than finishing a single campaign.

How does the social side differ?
Mafia City emphasizes its clan interactions and turf wars. In LCN, your team is called a Syndicate. It gives you a group to learn with and compete alongside, while your own character remains part of your everyday progress.
Before joining any team, ask what level of activity it expects. A group that suits your routine is more useful than picking only by its leaderboard position. Our LCN Syndicate guide explains how to approach that choice.
Which is closer to the old Mafia Wars style?
If what you miss is doing Jobs, buying properties, collecting equipment and strengthening a mob, LCN is the option to examine first. That is a comparison of activities, not a way to restore an old Zynga account.

Try the first session before committing
Start LCN’s tutorial, complete Jobs and inspect the equipment you collect. Try Fights when available and review the result. Those actions will tell you more about the fit than the shared mafia theme alone.
